1969 King 3B Silversonic with HN White era 'Croc Skin' case.

Very reluctant sale. Being sold to fund purchase of new bass trombone, which I need for work. Will be extremely sorry to see this go!

Has been VERY well looked after. Plays perfectly, must be tried to be believed!! I believe it was sorted for many years, as its age isn't reflected in the condition. Original lacquer. Mint gold plate inside the flare. Slide is flawless, absolutely mint. No real lacquer wear, only a couple of scratches that aren't really noticeable. 1950's King case.

Can arrange to meet in Manchester at the RNCM, or other location, for trial. This is recommended as it really plays superbly!

    £1000 solid.

I remember how ecstatic you were when you bought this - bet you're sorry to see this beautiful piece of kit moving on!

What's the proposed new bass trombone, out of curiosity?

I've not played many Kings myself, but even their student models have always seemed well-made. I have only heard Silversonics spoken of in hushed, reverent tones. This seems a steal at £1000.

Sorry to hear you're having to sell - I can imagine it's a wrench!
