This i have to tell and get some feed back off you:
We have been asked to make 200X 12oz Beef Burgers for August Bank Holiday.
Do you reckon you could eat a 12oz Beef Burger as we think its to much.
Dont forget you will have onions plus the Bap as well to eat
    Comments please

If someone is prepared to pay you to make 'em, then I would make 'em!

Having one 12oz is better than eating 2 6oz as there's only the one bun.

I'd prefer a steak, but if I had to I'd give it a go (although shouldn't we be in metric these days!)

Is about 500g give or take a bit.
No I really don't think I could do it unless I hadn't eaten for a week beforehand.

Is it 12oz before or after cooking? If before, then the finished burger (assuming loss from moisture evaporation and fat melting) is probably at least 20 - 25% less in weight.

The Wendy's hamburger chain in the US sells a "triple", which contains three 4oz (before cooking) patties. I've eaten one, but it was a struggle!

Now i think we are forgetting the most important question here: Why would you want to?! I mean is there really any need to eat half a cow?!!

i'm guessing a 12oz burger would be big. But how big is 12oz in relation to a 'normal' sized burger?!

I couldn't finish the world famous* "starship enterprise burger bar 16oz special", but LaserBeam Bass did, and then finished up by 12oz special that I could only half finish.

*World famous to Leyton Orient fans and local students of the early 90s, anyway!

Of course, we're a bit more conditioned for such things on this side of the pond. I could do it easy... but I'll be lookin' for a nap soon afterwards. :D
