BBC Winds help St. Andrews celebrate 100 years.

St. Andrews Church in Sudbury (Middlesex U.K.) have enlisted the help of the BBC (Elstree) Concert Band to help celebrate 100 years of the church on October 15th.

Conductor Mike Crisp will lead the band in a celebration concert featuring euphonium soloist Charley Brighton and organist Neil Bull.

Charley’s offering will be a new arrangement of ‘Speak Softly Love’ (from The Godfather) written for the band by Terry Treherne and Neil will combine with the band in the complete suite of music for the film ‘Things To Come’ by Arthur Bliss.

The concert starts at 7.30 and tickets are available at the door (be early though!) St. Andrews Church is at 956 Harrow Road, Sudbury.
