I started my music career at a
very young age playing the recorder! (Doesn’t everyone?)
But I carried on with it and
started to learn the guitar, I then decided to play the keyboard as
well.
In yr 6 I took up the trumpet, and
have been playing for a very long time, during this time, I joined many
choirs,
brass bands, wind bands/concert bands and orchestras. I first noticed
that I
enjoy singing in yr 8/9 and decided to focus more on it, I then decided
to act
as well, which has led to me getting my first role in 'The little shop
of
horrors' which I will be doing this year, as the female main role,
which I’m
very happy about.
I decided I wanted to play the
drums also, and have taken this up now for around 7 months, and have
started to
play the drums for the band, which I enjoy at lot more than playing the
cornet!
I have also played many different
instruments just for the hell of it really! I have also been getting
back into
my cornet playing during the last couple of months partly because I’m
now
playing in a new band, anyway this is me, a rowdy, lively, mad sort of
musician
(you know the sort!)
