Hi All
Can I first take this opportunity of extending the seasons greetings to you and your families, and to thank you for continuing to support and use tMP throughout 2006.
As we head towards Christmas and the end of another extremely busy year, and also towards the exciting (for me anyway!) 'half a million posts' milestone - I wanted to ask if you would mind taking just a few minutes of your time by providing your opinion, feedback and comments on how... [Read More]

JMU Brass Band Tour - Venue needed |
|
May 06, 2008 - 4:31 AM - by kstees
|
The JMU Brass Band will be on tour in England and Wales, 26 June-7 July, 2008. It is possible that the concert originally scheduled for 4 July in Durham may not take place, so the band is hoping to find another venue and possibly a band interested in a joint concert on that date. The ensemble will be performing at the Brighouse Festival of Brass the following day, so a venue within a 100 mile radius would be most welcome.
Kevin Stees
Director, JMU Brass Band

We at Thurcroft Welfare Band are delighted to announce that the Training Band (Formed in January this year) made it`s performance debut as part of a "sell out" concert in Carlton near Worksop on Saturday 3rd May. The capacity audience were very enthusiastic and supportive when the Training Band gave the final fifteen minutes to end the first half of the concert. Special mention to Anna Godfrey and Louise Piper who both gave a short unnacompanied solo item. Well done to all concerned.
